The Cuckoo Young Writers programme is a network of young writers groups which meet fortnightly in towns across the region. is a literary website devoted to new writing by young people aged 12-19, and sister site Cuckooreview.com is an arts journalism site for 15-23-year-olds. We run holiday projects and weekend masterclasses, and Cuckoo Shop, a pop-up venue during Durham Book Festival which is programmed by young people.
The money raised will be used to fund the programme to enable us to continue to work with young people across the region.
